• A Family Business
In 1977, Samuel Guenoun (Viviane’s Father) started out as a small distributor of imported custom jewelry in the Venezuelan market. He grew the business rapidly with hard work and unconditional dedication. At the same time, Gisela Guenoun (Viviane’s Mother) managed a successful retail location for all merchandise in Caracas.

As Venezuelan import tariffs eroded profits from imported merchandise The Guenoun Family rapidly adapted the business by creating a local manufacturing facility in Caracas. With time, most of the products sold where manufactured in Venezuela meeting the quality and cost standards of foreign merchandise.
The Company grew to include a full line of fashion accessories selling to many top fashion designers, footwear and textile manufacturers, retail stores and directly to the public.

• The High-Fashion Evolution

Viviane Guenoun joined The Company in 1988, after finalizing her thesis “How does women buys Fashion Jewlery in Caracas?¨ and graduating from Universidad Católica Andres Bello as a Social Communicator. Viviane became involved in the company’s operation bringing fresh management and marketing ideas. She also became involved with top fashion designers including Angel Sanchez, Guy Melliet, Margarita Zingg, and RAENRRA.

This exposure enabled her to shape her own style focusing on the internal beauty of every woman.
Viviane designs progressively gained the acceptance of the Latin American Woman. Some creations were featured in Miss Venezuela Contest and in other internationally known events. Viviane was also featured in local and international media

Today, the Company manufactures only the exclusive designs of Viviane Guenoun in a wholly owned state-of-the-art manufacturing facility encompassing the full production process from design, mold creation, welding, and gold, silver, and nickel plating, to finishing, quality control and packaging.

• International Expansion

The company began its international expansion successfully though a partnership with Belkys Reyes in The Dominican Republic. The products were featured in national media and the acceptance was impressive. In July of 2002, Viviane was invited as a special guest to the Miss Dominican Republic Contest, and she designed all the jewelry for the event.
After this initial success, Galit Guenoun (Viviane’s Sister) joined the company to lead its international expansion. An experienced marketer, Galit focused efforts initially in South Florida reaching a network of over 20 retail stores and individual sales representatives .
The company is now looking to expand internationally trough different brand representation business models, including product positioning in small and large stores, creation and licensing of branded stores, and product positioning in alternative establishments like beauty saloons and other fashion related retail locations.
